All Work and No Play Makes Jack A Dead Boy

If your dad ever told you after a long Saturday of chores that work can't kill you- he was wrong. It's called "Karoshi." The cause of death of one of Toyota's bigwigs, a 45 year-old car engineer who was rushing to develop a hybrid version of the Camry, was declared to be "overwork" today. More, after the jump...
He reportedly put in over 80 hours of overtime in the two months prior to kicking the bucket. Seriously? 80 hours? Did the man even get to sleep? I think 'death by overwork' might be a misnomer in this instance. 'Death by sleep deprivation' makes a little more sense.
The good news is that his family is now eligible to receive benefits from his work insurance.
If they remember who he is, that is...considering he lived at the office.
